Shipping and Pick-up Policy

All orders placed online at sandypaws.co.nz will have a delivery fee calculated at check out. This fee is dependent on your order size and delivery location. No additional charges apply for pick-up. 

General Shipping Information

  • All shipping rates are in NZ dollars.

  • We aim to dispatch all orders within 2 working days subject to availability of stock.

  • If you are unable to receive an order, please contact us at ruby@sandypaws.co.nz as soon as you have placed your order. We can hold items for approx. 2-4 weeks if needed.

  • You will receive an email notification once your order has been dispatched.

  • Smaller orders delivered by courier should be received within 7 working days of dispatch. Courier delays can occur.

  • We are not able to deliver to post office boxes or private boxes.

  • We may be unable to ship oversized, overweight, or other items to rural destinations, or in some situations, this may incur an additional fee. If this is the case, you will be contacted by our customer services to discuss options for your order.

  • At present, we only ship within New Zealand. 

Pick-up option

If you have placed your order online you will be able to pick up Monday-Friday from our Grooming Studio & Shop at 67 Joan Gaskell Drive, Whitianga. We will send a “ready for collection” txt once your order is ready. Please pick up within 7 working days during opening hours.

Customer satisfaction is very important to us and we want to make your shopping experience as pleasant as possible. If there is any issue with your order please email us at ruby@sandypaws.co.nz.

Change your mind?

We want to ensure you are happy with your purchase. We are, by law, not required to accept an exchange if you change your mind. However, we are more than happy to answer any questions before you complete your purchase.

Products returned for exchange must be received by us in an undamaged and saleable condition within 7 days from the date of delivery to you in the original unopened packaging and accompanied by proof of purchase.

All costs (including delivery costs) to exchange products are your responsibility.

Missing products?

In the event that we are unable to deliver a product you have ordered, we will contact you to discuss options.

If any products are missing from a delivery you have received please email us at ruby@sandypaws.co.nz

Provided that you have notified us of any missing products within 7 days and subject to availability we will resupply the missing product and cover all new delivery charges. If the product is not available you may choose to receive a refund or store credit including that portion of delivery charges relating to the missing product.

Defective product or damaged Item(s)?

If you receive a defective or damaged product(s) we will meet our obligations under the consumer guarantees act 1993.

Please contact by phone or email so that we can advise you the best way to return the product.

Defective or damaged products must be received by us within 7 days from the date of sale or delivery to you and accompanied by proof of purchase.

Warranty claim?

To the extent that this clause is not in conflict with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Sandy Paws does not undertake repairing of goods.

All new products come with a Manufactures warranty.

Sandy Paws may ask the manufacturer to repair or replace any defective goods. Proof of purchase may be required by the customer when making a warranty claim. Your warranty is in addition to your rights under the Consumers Guarantees Act 1993.

If you are purchasing for the purposes of a business, you agree that the terms of the Consumers Guarantees Act 1993 shall not apply. All warranties and conditions implied under other statutes (including the Sales of Goods Act (1908) are expressly excluded from your warranty.
