About Sandy Paws

Calm dogs. Clear routines. Enrichment-led care.

Our Philosophy

We believe dogs don't need chaos to be happy. They need structure, mental stimulation, and the right kind of socialisation.

At Sandy Paws, we've designed our daycare around what actually supports canine wellbeing - not just what looks fun. Dogs leave us settled, not overstimulated.

Our approach to daily care

We build each day around what dogs actually need. Small groups, clear schedules, and activities that engage their minds.

Small groups

Enrichment focus

Small groups mean each dog gets attention. We match them by size, temperament, and energy so they can settle in without stress.

Structured days

Routine builds confidence

Dogs feel safe when they know what comes next. A clear schedule keeps them calm and prevents the anxiety that comes with unpredictability.

Enrichment focus

Minds need work too

Scent work, puzzle games, and confidence-building activities keep dogs engaged. A tired mind is as important as tired paws.

Clear updates

You stay in the loop

Daily updates tell you how your dog spent their day. No surprises, no guessing. Just honest communication about what happened.

How we maintain quality care

Every decision we make comes down to what's best for the dogs in our care.

Staffing ratios

We maintain 1 staff member per 6-9 dogs, with a senior staff member on site at all times.

Safety first

All dogs are assessed before joining. We prioritise calm, safe interactions over quantity of playmates.

Ongoing training

Our team stays current on canine behaviour, enrichment practices, and welfare standards.
